What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: If you are not a citizen of United States of America we may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.}
  • Education: An advanced degree (at least Master or equivalent) in business administration, international affairs, law, economics, finance, or another relevant field
  • Experience: 5 years of experience, at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in projects in public or private sector operations, including working in a multilateral organization or national government, preferably in an area related with private sector operations. Knowledge of IDB Invest policies, procedures and systems would be an advantage. Capability in managing complex and diverse processes that require input and coordination with multiple stakeholders. Understanding of client needs and challenges, of different country/regional areas, market idiosyncrasies, and drivers of change in Latin America and the Caribbean.
  • Languages: Oral and written professional proficiency in either English or Spanish is required. Proficiency in both languages highly desirable. Knowledge of Portuguese or French is a plus.

Opportunity Summary:

  • Supervisor: Principal Advisor for Strategy and Corporate Affairs
  • Location: Headquarters, Washington DC, USA.
  • Start date: As soon as possible.
