What you'll need 

  • Education: Master's degree or equivalent advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.  
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in an HR function, preferably in an international setting.
  • Experience recruiting for a high-volume organization, agency or executive search with an excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (such as SuccessFactors) and conducting candidate interviews is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of being a collaborative team player.
  • Languages:  Proficiency in English, spoken and written, is required. Proficiency in Spanish is highly desired.

  • Learn continuously: Propose and implement creative new sourcing ideas and initiatives based on experience and subject matter expertise.    
  • Collaborate and share knowledge: Continually acquire new functional skills and redefine sourcing strategies to keep current and maximize the team’s success.   

Requirements

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents. 
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab. 
  • Location: Washington, DC 

Type of contract and duration 

  •  International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
