What you’ll need:

 

Core and Technical Competencies:

  • Systems: Experience with HR and Financial Systems (SAP preferred). Required experience with database management and query design in the payroll function (Microsoft Access preferred).
  • Change management: Anticipates, identifies, conceptualizes and implements change activities that ensure impact on key initiatives.
  • Technical Knowledge: Demonstrates professional/technical knowledge, skills and expertise within functional area of HR. US Income Tax knowledge is a plus.
  • Project management: Establishes objectives, tasks, responsibilities and timelines for the on-time and on-budget completion of projects in order to deliver on HR programs and achieved desired business results.
  • Assessment, Measurement and Analytics: Analyzes data and trends to identify, diagnose and tackle problems and make decisions contributing to enhanced HR programs, processes, and/or systems.
  • Coaching and Consulting: Establishes role as trusted advisor by knowing, applying and advocating sound and consistent HR principles and practices.
  • Collaboration, Teamwork and Inclusion: Works cooperatively with others independent of background (e.g. gender, ethnic origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, background, perspective) or organizational role, and takes a team-based and inclusive approach to projects and decision making.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Develops imaginative ideas and solutions through creativity, experimentation and critical thinking.
  • Communication and Influence: Communicates effectively and uses relationships and strategies to influence others.
  • Client Focus: Understands client needs and provides services that meet their expectations for quality and performance.

 

Opportunity Summary: 

  • Type of contract: Full-Time Consultant (CNS)
  • Length of contract: 12 months
  • Starting date: Q4, 2021
  • Location: Washington DC based with option for remote work.
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
