What you’ll need:    
   

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
   
Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
   
Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in HR management, business administration, human-centered-design, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
   
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in talent acquisition, human capital consulting or a role demonstrating expertise in strategizing and implementing talent management solutions to include change management, talent development, or rotational programs. Client service orientation is essential, plus:   
  • Ability to develop and evaluate data-based innovations within organizational environments, integrating cross-organizational partners.
  • Experience collaborating with and partnering/influencing senior leaders in the business to ensure client-satisfaction regarding project and/or strategic initiatives.
  • Understanding of organizations with an international scope of operations and extensive experience in program/project management and in the areas you will be responsible for.
  • Proven experience leading, developing, and maturing a high-performing talent acquisition team/function across a region.
  • Ability to have a “big picture” perspective but also able to design, implement, and manage complex processes from a strategic and operational perspective.
  • Strong technical background, including extensive knowledge of leading-edge HR programs, systems, and practices.
  • Ability to bring innovative and workable concepts and ideas to meet client’s needs, creating strategic concepts and translating them to execution to produce business outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen and clear understanding of market trends, competition, and culture.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills with an ability to manage multiple clients with multiple needs in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Collaborative team player who can inspire trust and passion in the IDB Group’s mission, establish productive relationships, and treat all individuals with fairness and respect.
Languages: Capacity to make influential presentations and produce engaging reports in English and either Spanish, French, or Portuguese.
