What you’ll need:
We would like you to have:
- Validated expertise in the development and implementation of research projects in health - especially in the areas of health systems financing, analysis of health systems’ efficiency, evaluation of policies and interventions to promote appropriate utilization and high-quality care in resource constrained settings and digital health – and a proven record of publications.
- Extensive field experience in working with governments and other partners in health sector policy strategy formulation as well as experience in supporting implementation of sector modernization efforts in complex environments.
- Knowledge of health digital tools.

Opportunity Summary:

Length of contract: 3 years
Starting date: January 1, 2021
Location: Washington, D.C.
Requirements: Candidates must be citizens of one of the IDB’s 48-member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
As international specialist, the selected candidate will be expected to rotate between country assignments every circa 3 to 5 years.
