What you will need:

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members working at the IDB Group (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse).
  • Education: A Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management, Project Development/Management, Real Estate Development/Management, or other relevant field; Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate preferred. 
  • Experience: At least 10 years of relevant practical experience in the development, design, construction, operations, and maintenance of facilities, including managing facilities operations on an international level, with a preferred focus in Latin America and the Caribbean. Knowledge and experience in project management, business administration, including budgeting, contract administration, and feasibility studies is required. Experience in real estate business and negotiations preferred.  
  • Languages: You are proficient in English and Spanish (verbal and written). Solid understanding of French and Portuguese is useful.
