What you’ll need:

 

  • Education: You hold a Ph.D. degree in social sciences, applied economics or related field.
  • Experience: You have at least 6 years of relevant and substantive development policy and operational experience.
  • Languages: You are proficient in Spanish and English. Your Portuguese or French knowledge would be a plus.

Requirements: You are citizen of one of the IDB’s 48-member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
As an international specialist, you will be expected to rotate between country assignments every 3 to 5 years.
