What You’ll Need:
  • Education: Technical studies or Associate Degree in Business Administration or related fields with a minimum of 2 years of experience of relevant professional experience.
  • Languages: Proficient both in English and Spanish.
  • Areas of Expertise: Customer Service, travel management, contract processing, invoicing.
  • Skills: The selected candidate should have:
    • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills written and verbally for customer service and support.
    • Some knowledge in the use of systems such as Convergence, EZ-Share, SAP, WLMS, Concur and hiring procedures, among other systems used at the IDB.
    • The candidate should be able to perform under pressure, results oriented, self-motivated, persistent, eloquent and resourceful.
    • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

Opportunity Summary: 

  • Type of contract: Consultant (CNS), Full time.
  • Length of contract: 4.5 months.
  • Location: The work will be performed at the IDB Headquarters in Washington, DC.
  • Responsible person: The contractual will be under the direct supervision of Administrative Services Coordinator and RPA Senior Analyst for (VPS/ESG).
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
