What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related fields.  Years of relevant experience will be particularly considered.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience at national/international level in similar roles.
  • Languages: Oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish.

  • A validated expertise in corporate services, document management and administrative support.
  • Knowledge of the Bank’s administrative policies and procedures. 
  • Knowledge of corporate information systems and database,such as CONCUR, SISCOR, Ezhare.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to rapidly become proficient in new software applications. Knowledge of corporate information systems
  • Experience assisting high-level officials (Executives/VPs) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and strong team work player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure and be accountable for the assigned tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Fast learner and crisis management skills
  • Exercise good decision-making

Opportunity Summary:

  • Type of contract: Consultant Full Time, monthly
  • Length of contract: 12 Months
  • Location: Washington, DC
  • Responsible person: Supervised by the Resource Planning and Administration Senior Specialist and coordinated by the Sr. Administrative Coordinator of KIC/KIC
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
