What you’ll need:
Education: You hold a Master's degree in the social sciences, preferably in economics and/or public policy.
Experience: You have at least 5 years of practical experience in technical positions within governments, international organizations and/or academia. Experience in managing modernization projects. Candidates should be familiar with best international practices in fiscal institutions. A good understanding of the use of technology in modern fiscal management is also key.
Team: Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to work as part of a team, and to maintain effective and cooperative relations.
Languages: Well-developed oral and written communication, and proficiency in Portuguese and another of the Bank’s official languages.

Opportunity Summary:
Type of contract: Full time Staff Fixed Term
Length of contract: 3 years
Starting date: Q3 or Q4 2020
Location: Brazil. As international specialist, you should expect to rotate between country assignments every 3 to 5 years.
Requirements: You are a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB group.
