What you’ll need:
- Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
- Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Economics, Public Policy/Affairs or Public Administration; graduate degree preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Languages: Spanish and English (both required).
Ideally, experience in topics/projects related to public policy, database management, fiscal decentralization and strengthening of subnational governments.
- Type of contract: Consultant - Full time.
- Length of contract: 9 months
- Location: IDB Headquarters, Washington D.C. United States of America. An office space, with the related communication and information technical requirements, will be provided for the consultant. Occasionally, the consultant could be asked to travel on missions related to the project. In those cases, per diem and travel expenses will be covered following the Bank’s policies and will need the approval of the Team Leader.

- Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
