What you'll need:

  • Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Economy, Finance, Public policy, Development or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience in climate finance and development of climate change projects.
  •  Languages: Proficiency in English

Requirements:

  • Citizenship: You are either a citizen of Barbados or a citizen of one of our 48-member countries with residency or legal permit to work in Barbados.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

 

Type of contract and duration

  • Type of contract: Products and External Services Consultant (PEC), Lump Sum.
  • Length of contract: 12 Months
  • Work Location: Remote.
