What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Active master's degree OR recent graduate from a postgraduate program (maximum of 1 year after graduation date) in Economics, Public Policy or related field.   
  • Experience: Minimum two years of relevant experience.
  • Languages: Be proficient in English and preferably with a working knowledge of one of the Bank’s additional official languages (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, or French).

Core and Technical Competencies:

  • Self-management, flexibility, dependability, relationship building, results-driven, with strong communication skills.

 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly in Excel.
  • Proficiency with survey services such as Survey Monkey and Qualtrics, highly desirable.  

 

Opportunity Summary: 

  • Type of contract and modality: Products and External Services Consultant, Lump Sum
  • Length of contract: 12 months
  • Location: Remote
  • Responsible Person: Lead Learning and Knowledge Management Specialist.
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48-member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.

Accessibility, Logistics, and Expenses: In case of providing services on your post of hire, or an alternate location, the consultant will be responsible for setting telephone and computer accesses required to provide the services under this Agreement. The consultant is fully responsible for any expenses incurred for these purposes, such as but not limited to computer, phone lines and/or network connections. Also, the consultant must be accessible to be contacted and respond within a reasonable time frame (1 day) by means of telephone and/or e-mail for matters related to this contract.
