What you will need:
 

Education: You hold an advanced degree (Masters or equivalent) in a field related to environmental or social sciences.
 

Experience: You have at least 10 years of relevant experience as environmental and/or social safeguards specialist in complex high-risk projects in several sectors, especially transport, rural development, forestry, energy, water & sanitation, and housing. Knowledge and work experience in Argentina are essential; experience in other CSC countries as well as previous works with multilateral development banks and/or development finance institutions is desirable. Ability to deal with social or environmental issues. Experience in environmental and social capacity building initiatives, in planning and reporting for multilateral development operations and experience in the negotiation of high complex projects with project teams and clients.
 

Languages: You are fluent (oral and written) in Spanish and have a professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of an additional official Bank language (Portuguese and French) is a plus.

Opportunity Summary:

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina
