What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or any related field.

Experience: Minimum two years of relevant work experience. Having worked at the IDB and having experience in operational and administrative support is a plus.

Languages: Excellent oral and written command of English and Spanish


Core and Technical Competencies:

  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, knowledge of Bank’s operating systems (convergence)
  • Knowledge of Bank’s administrative and operational policies and procedures
  • Ability to provide clear, concise and timely information;
  • Ability to work independently, within initiative and responsibility, and establish work priorities;
  • Effective communication orally and in writing with diverse audiences and professional presence through clear and respectful communication;
  • Ability to work as team member to complete work assignments, achieve common goals, and contribute towards a positive work environment.


Opportunity Summary: 

Type of contract: Full Time Consultant (CNS).

Length of contract: Six (6) months, with possibility of extension up to a total of 36 based on good performance.

Starting date: December 2021

Location: Headquarters IDB Washington DC, USA

Responsible person: Division Chief, INE/ENE

Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
