What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries..
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Master, or equivalent, in communications, with special emphasis on content development, messages for traditional and non-traditional communication platforms, webinars.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in industry of communication both traditional, and new traditional
  • Languages: Written and oral communication at a technical professional level in Spanish and English. Knowledge of Portuguese and French desired, but not required.

Core and Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to organize in-person and virtual events with stakeholders across the region.
  • Ability to identify key topics and position work in the national and regional policy discussion. 
  • Be proactive and able to work in a team and advice team members. Foster culture of ongoing innovation and creativity.
  • Communicate effectively and articulate complex ideas to internal and external stakeholders. Create and maintain exemplary human relations with clients and colleagues
  • Bring communications management, public relations, communication strategy expertise plus content writing skills for different platforms. Have a graphic and visual criteria mindset.

  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
