Digital Intelligence Senior Specialist – Analytics

We are looking for a client-oriented, strategic, and highly motivated professional that will lead the delivery of analytical, technological, and cultural transformation processes as part of our Information Services Unit.

The team: The Knowledge, Innovation and Communication Sector (KIC) is responsible `for: (i) helping the IDB Group to identify, build, apply, and disseminate high-quality knowledge, developing and use learning products to build technical and general competencies; (ii) providing experience, networks, and methodologies and expediting the adoption of innovative solutions, among others. Within KIC, our Unit combines technology, information, and data to provide intelligence services to the sector, enabling the whole department to deliver high quality, evidence-based products, and strategies.

What you’ll do:

  • Be a strategic partner to our internal clients, acting as an advisor to bring to bear data and digital intelligence for decision making, operations design and strategic communications.

  • Provide advice to the Unit Chief, in matters related to product and processes design, unit’s general operations, team building and client service.

  • Coordinate the work of a data-related team to produce proactive intelligence reports in alignment with Bank’s strategic priorities, with special focus on quality, timely delivery, and user-experience.

  • Manage the relationship with external technological providers and other relevant organizations  to keep bringing new external solutions to our clients.

  • Act as a strategic coordinator for digital transformation initiatives, projects and pilots, providing coaching to Project Managers, negotiating with counterparts and offering input on product design and project execution.

  • Lead the change management strategies for key projects, designing and coordinating the implementation and adoption with the business units involved.

  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.

  • Work closely with other divisions and units to identify client needs and keep the offer of products and services relevant

  • Support the monitoring process of the unit work´s program, providing analytical support as needed and coordinate improvements to current business processes and services inside the unit.

  • Provide mentoring and guidance to more junior staff, with special focus on team motivation and wellbeing.

What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Education: Master's degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Economics, Business Administration or Social Sciences. PMP certification would be a plus.


  • At least 8 years of relevant experience related to the key responsibilities of the position, A minimum of 3 years of international experience in strategic planning and multidisciplinary project execution is highly desired.

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience conducting change management processes in multi-cultural organizations

  • Experience in implementing and executing corporate support services in a complex environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously, preferably in international organizations

Languages: Oral and written proficiency in Spanish and English is required

Opportunity Summary:
