What you’ll need:
- Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
- Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business, or other related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Language: Perfect command of English or Spanish. (French proficiency is also desirable).
- Excellent writing/editing, for digital use.
- Online community management experience and knowledge about industry best practices.
- Solid understanding of current industry standards and techniques for digital content creation required.
- In-depth understanding of public policy issues in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Reporting, writing, editing, and translation skills.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically and creatively, and express ideas effectively both orally and in writing.
- Strong teamwork orientation and effective communication skills.
- Breadth of awareness.
- Type of Contract: Consultant
- Length of Contract: 30.5 months
- Location: IDB Headquarters, Washington, DC.
- Responsible Person: Chief of Communications Division (KIC/DCC)
