What you’ll need:
 

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in international development, public policy, public administration, international relations, or other related fields.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of the fields of international development and results measurement; prior experience working with the IDB or a similar institution.

Languages:  Ability to read, write and speak Spanish and English. Knowledge of French or Portuguese would be an asset.

 

Core and Technical Competencies: Multi-sector professional experience in international development and public policy; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; exceptional attention to detail; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to synthesize information clearly for a variety of stakeholder audiences; ability to work independently or as part of a team; fully proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) highly desirable.

 

Opportunity Summary:

  • Length of contract: initially 24 months, renewable up to a maximum of 36 months

  • Location: IDB Headquarters
  • Responsible person: Senior Specialist, SPD/SMO
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
