What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences or administration. with a master’s degree in water and sanitation related topics.
  • Experience: At least 5-year experience in the water and sanitation sector and at least one-year experience working with an international organization.
  • Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English.

Core and Technical Competencies:

  • Written and oral fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Work in team.
  • Results oriented.

Opportunity Summary: 

Type of contract: Full-time consultant.

Length of contract: one year with possibility for extension.

Starting date: January 2020.

Location: Washington D.C.

Responsible person: Water and Sanitation Senior Specialist.

Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
