What you’ll need:

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Master’s degree in public health, public policy, economics, business administration, finance, international development, social policy, or another relevant field or equivalent.
  • Experience: at least (5) years of relevant professional experience or the equivalent of education and experience.
  • Languages: Ability to read, write and speak Spanish and English is required, knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is desirable.

Core and Technical Competencies:

  • Capacity to work independently.
  • Project Management and monitoring skills.
  • Ability to design and produce analytical reports.
  • Ability for multidisciplinary work.
  • Ability and willingness to work with local authorities.

Opportunity Summary:

  • Type of contract: Full time Consultant, CNS
  • Length of contract: 19 months
  • Location: Washington, DC
  • Responsible person: Social Protection Lead Specialist (SCL/SPH)
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
