What you´ll need

Core and Technical Competences
  • Areas of Expertise: Energy, electrical engineering, project management, project cycle in multilateral organizations, and field work in development projects. Experience in renewable energy, energy access, energy efficiency and energy regulation are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, within the initiative and responsibility, and establish work priorities.
  • Effective communication orally and in writing with diverse audiences and professional presence through clear and respectful communication.
  • Ability to work as a team member to complete tasks, achieve common goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
Opportunity Summary
  • Type of Contract: Consultant full time, monthly.
  • Length of contract: 12 months, with possibility of extension based on good performance.
  • Starting date: December 2020.
  • Location: IDB Country Office in Suriname.
  • Responsible person: Energy Lead Specialist INE/ENE.
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
