Consultancy to advice on the establishment of the Disaster Emergency Fund and the Disaster Recovery Fund in The Bahamas. BH-L1056 “Strengthening Disaster Risk Management Governance in The Bahamas”

What you'll need:

• Education: Master´s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in matters related to public sector administration and/or financial management. 
• Experience: At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the development of regulations and operating procedures, administration or use of disaster risk management funding mechanisms (or related, such as climate change adaptation). Specific experience in the Bahamas or Caribbean is preferred. 
• Languages: Proficiency in English.

Requirements:

• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. 
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

• Type of contract: Products and External Services Consultant (PEC), Lump Sum 
• Length of contract: 15 months
• Work Location: Remote.
