What you’ll need:
• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries and also a citizen of one of the 15 member countries of FONTAGRO.
• Consanguinity: you have no relatives (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including the spouse) who work in the IDB Group.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in agricultural sciences, agronomic engineering, preferably with a master’s degree or PhD in agricultural sciences or similar, and specialty or experience in knowledge management and scientific-technical communication in agriculture or related sciences.
• Experience: at least 2 years of experience.
• Languages: Spanish and advanced level of English language.
General and Technical Competences:
The candidate is expected to demonstrate experience in the management of Office tools, and preferably with evidence of work on issues of knowledge management and scientific communication - agricultural or related science technology.
Summary of the opportunity:
• Type of contract and modality: Consultant.
• Duration of the contract: 12 months.
• Start date: August 16th, 2019.
• Location: IDB Headquarters, Washington D.C.
• Responsible person: CSD/RND Senior Specialist and the Executive Secretary (SE) of FONTAGRO.
• Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the 15 member countries of FONTAGRO and one of the 48 member countries of the IDB and not have family members who are currently working in the IDB Group.
