What you’ll need:
  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents. 
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
  • Education: Master's or equivalent; preferably civil or environmental engineer, or economist.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in Latin America and the Caribbean.
  • Languages: Oral and written fluency in English; full proficiency in Spanish is a requirement.
 Core and Technical Competencies: (i) Strong background in transport;  (ii) capability to develop quantitative analysis; and  (iii) effectively supports the implementation of projects and programs to maximize their results.
 
Opportunity Summary: 
  • Type of contract: Consultant Full time.
  • Length of contract: 12 months.
  • Starting date: February 2020.
  • Location: IDB's Representation office in Bolivia.
  • Responsible Person: the general supervision of this consultancy will be conducted by the Division Chief Transport INE/TSP.
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
