Communications and Digital marketing Specialist - Consultant

Preferred Requirements and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree (Master's degree preferred) with three to ten years of professional experience in digital marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, corporate communications and/or external relations.
• Excellent written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proven ability to produce original content and copy edit complex work developed by peers.
• Understanding and practical knowledge of both mainstream and social media.
• Good knowledge of digital marketing tools (such as Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent platforms) as well as experience using media monitoring tools.
• Quick learner with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good knowledge of data analytics.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Strategic, financial and/or corporate communications experience.
• Experience managing multiple accounts.
• Experience with crisis communications/issues management desirable.
• Private sector and financial institutions experience desirable.
• Knowledge of best practices for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and online lead development strategies desirable.
• Languages: Native and/or proficient-level oral and written English and Spanish required.

Type of contract: Consultant Full Time (CNS).

Length of contract: 24 months.

Location: IBD Invest’s Headquarters. Washington DC. U.S.A.

Responsible person: Communications and Marketing Lead Officer.

Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.

Payment and Conditions: Compensation will be determined in accordance with IDB Invest’s policies and procedures. The IDB Invest, pursuant to applicable policies, may contribute toward travel and moving expenses.

Visa and Work Permit: The IDB Invest, pursuant to applicable policies, may submit a visa request to the applicable immigration authorities; however, the granting of the visa is at the discretion of the immigration authorities. Notwithstanding, it is the responsibility of the candidate to obtain the necessary visa or work permits required by the authorities of the country (ies) in which the services will be rendered to the IDB Invest. If a candidate cannot obtain a visa or work permit to render services to the IDB Invest the contractual offer will be rescinded.

Consanguinity: Pursuant to applicable IDB Invest regulations, candidates with relatives (including the fourth degree of consanguinity and the second degree of affinity, including spouse) working for the IDB Invest and the Bank as staff members, or Complementary Workforce or as contractors, will not be eligible to provide services for the IDB Invest.
