What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are either a citizen of Mexico or a citizen of one of our 48-member countries with residency or legal permit to work in Mexico

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education:  Master's degree in climate related Environmental Studies, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, International Development, or similar discipline.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the development of climate related analysis as well as the design and execution of projects that contribute to low-carbon and resilient development (mitigation or adaptation) is required. Work experience with climate change issues in international institutions, preferable at UN agencies or development banks, or governments is a requirement. Knowledge of sustainable agriculture/livestock, forestry, sustainable infrastructure, Mexican Climate Change public policy and regulatory framework, and green procurement is an advantage.

Languages: Excellent command of two official languages of the IDB: English and Spanish.
