What you'll need:
- Education: Master's degree or equivalent in international development, environmental sciences, economics, natural resource management, government or relevant disciplines, execution and management of operations related to development and climate change.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Working or academic experience with issues related to climate change resilience and environmental sustainability will be strongly preferred. Experience with implementation of projects in the Caribbean region will be strongly preferred. Experience working with multilateral institutions and preparing projects including both for the public and private sector on climate change, ideally with international sources of climate finance is desirable. Must have an advanced understanding of climate change and sustainability issues in Jamaica and the Caribbean region. Must have an in-depth understanding of development and/or implementing Blue Economy projects.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required

Requirements:
- Citizenship: You are either a citizen of Jamaica or a citizen of one of our 48-member countries with residency or legal permit to work in Jamaica.
- Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
