Skills you’ll need:

 

 

  • Education: Master’s or equivalent Licenciatura/advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred). in Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Public Policy. and Administration, or other relevant fields.
  • Experience: You have at least 10 years relevant to the duties and accountabilities of the position.

 

 

  1. You are recognized as a leader and authority among peers in the field.
  2. You have a shown experience in similar positions, preferably in Latin America or the Caribbean, including broad experience, at a similar level, in coordinating multidisciplinary teams to develop complex projects in a matrix structure environment, with strong technical background.
  3. You combine strong intellectual leadership with: a) a track record of successfully designing or/and implementing projects and programs in the areas described above, and b) broad experience in working with knowledge networks and knowledge dissemination and management.
  • Publications: significant publication record on gender, diversity and social inclusion issues, preferably on Latin American and Caribbean countries.
  • Languages: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish and desirable oral and written proficiency in a third Bank language (French or Portuguese).

Type of contract: Fixed term
Length of contract: 3 years
Location: Washington D.C. Headquarters of the Inter-American Development Bank in USA.
Requirements: You are a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48-member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
