What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are either a citizen of Jamaica or a citizen of one of our 48-member countries with residency or legal permit to work in Jamaica.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in Project Management or Agile Methodology. Familiarity with IDB operations and activities in Jamaica would be an asset.

Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in fields related to project or portfolio management, process improvement, administration of projects financed by multilateral development institutions or other external donors, and operations analytics. Knowledge of national procurement policies, norms or practices and experience in writing reports is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, be creative, driven, good at relationship building, and have strong problem-solving skills. Further, s/he must be a phenomenal teammate and a high energy professional with digital competence. S/he should also have and an agile approach with an interest in using real-time, iterative approaches to meet client needs, all with the aim of promoting innovative solutions to corporate and regional development challenges.

Languages: You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Oral and written proficiency in a second Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is preferred.
