What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are either a citizen of Colombia or a citizen of one of our 48-member countries with residency or legal permit to work in Colombia.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

 

 

 

 

 

Education: Master’s Degree with a concentration in Finance, Business Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. A candidate that has successfully completed the CFA Level I and/or the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification is desirable.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years related experience with multi-currency, Capital Markets, Fixed Income Securities and Derivatives treasury operations experience. Experience with international markets, foreign exchange market, capital markets software, and international clearing systems preferred.

Languages: Fluent in English. Spanish and Portuguese are desirable.

 

Core and Technical Competencies:

  • Experience with Capital Markets, Fixed Income Securities, Derivatives, investment instruments and securities.  Additionally, experience with international payment and transaction flows, banking, financial and accounting analysis, reporting and reconciliations. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills with excellent command of Spanish and English, orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen to others, correctly interpret messages, and respond appropriately.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize to meet tight deadlines, helping multiple clients
  • Ability to analyze data and use good judgment to devise effective solutions. 
  • Works cooperatively with others independent of background (e.g., gender, ethnic origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, background, perspective) or organizational role, and takes a team-based and inclusive approach to projects and decision making.
  • Understanding of Operational and Risk Controls
  • Ability to actively develop and share knowledge within and outside own business area.

Opportunity Summary: 

Type of contract: National Consultant

Length of contract: 36 months

Starting date: August 2022.

Location: Colombia, 100 % remotely from the place of residence of the consultant.

Responsible person: Head of (TRY/CMS)
