What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education: Technical studies or Associate Degree or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred) in Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

Core and Technical Competencies:

Skills:

  • Fully proficient in computer skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and in using information databases, internet/intranet services, as well as the ability to help organize data and information retrieval systems.
  • Ability to perform a full range of administrative and client support services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Advanced knowledge of, and experience with videoconferencing platforms (e.g., Cisco Webex, Zoom and MS Teams)
  • Basic understanding of files and case management, particularly in the context of the Bank's development projects.
  • Established reputation for integrity, sound judgment, fairness and discretion in dealing internally and externally.
  • Tact and discretion in dealing with senior officials and staff at all levels.
