What you will need:
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or another field related to IT technology.
  • Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of experience as developer using the following technologies/methodologies:

o          Agile and DevOps practices

o          C#, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript

o          Angular

o          MVC pattern and Entity Framework

o          GIT
o          Cloud technologies
o          API development

o          Programming in SQL Server and Oracle

o          Development of SSIS packages

o          Tableau, Power BI, Crystal Reports

  • Language/s: Fluency in English and knowledge of another official Bank language (Spanish, Portuguese and/or French).
  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents
  • Consanguinity:  You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group
 
Technical Competencies:
  • Client Business Knowledge: Understands and maps client business processes, clarifies user needs and challenges and acts as a trusted advisor to IT and client business operations.
  • Client Support: Uses knowledge of applications, systems and networking architecture to effectively and efficiently address end users’ use of information technology and systems. Manages and maintains services provided to and relationships with the IDB’s end users.
  • Strategic Management of Enterprise Processes and Technologies: Introduces and manages innovations in business processes and enterprise technologies to meet the strategic needs of clients, while ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and security requirements.
  • Project Management: Delivers IT projects on time and within scope and budget. Makes the most efficient and strategic use of available resources. Applies understanding of project management tools and methodologies to new projects and assignments.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Achieves desired level of quality and adherence to appropriate process and standards through planning, assessment and the application of processes and standards.
  • Domain Knowledge: Demonstrates professional/technical knowledge, skills and expertise within functional area of IT, and stays current on best practices, new technologies, systems applications and IT enterprise strategies.
