What you’ll need:

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents. 

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree and two years of experience.

Experience: Candidate should have a strong quantitative background. Experience should include at least one year of analytical experience on Energy Economics and familiarity working with International Organizations. Experience working in/with Latin America and the Caribbean desired.

Languages: English and Spanish. Moreover, other official languages of the Bank are desirable.

 

Core and Technical Competencies: Strong background in energy economics, with good skills in data management.

Knowledge in Stata and R; Moreover, experience with other statistical/econometrics packages such as Python and Matlab are desired.

  • Type of contract: Consultant Full Time.
  • Length of contract: 12 months.

  • Location: IDB Headquarter.
  • Responsible person: Energy Specialist.
  • Requirements: You must be a citizen of one of the IDB’s 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group.
