Project Management Officer

What you'll need

• Education: Master’s degree in engineering, health sciences, economics, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Current training and certification in project management (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)).Specific training in Project Management and/or Management of Health or Technology Projects (or equivalent advanced degree). 
• Experience: At least 10 years of progressive experience in project management and/or program management in the healthcare sector or digital transformation in any sector at the international level. Experience in digital health will be valued.
• Languages: Advanced writing, communication, and presentation skills in Spanish and English. Additional skills in Portuguese and French will be valued.

• Significant knowledge of project planning or scheduling tools (i.e. Microsoft Project and Open Workbench), with a strong track record in practical application.
• Verbal and written communication skills; experience in setting and managing expectations (significant knowledge of tools such as: Microsoft PowerPoint).
• A person with his or her own initiative and the ability to build solid working relationships in diverse teams.
• Broad knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust among stakeholders.
• Strong organization, time, and task management skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously, prioritize and reprioritize work as needed in a flexible, cooperative, and fast-paced manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Focus on customers and manage concurrent projects involving a wide range of stakeholders

Requirements:

• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. 
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration:

• Type of contract: Products and External Services Consultant (PEC), Lump Sum 
• Length of contract: 12 months (renewable).
• Work Location: Remote.
