IT Technical Product Owner​ Consultant

What you'll need:

• Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
• Experience: Minimum 5 years as technical Product Owner.
• Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

Key skills: 

• Proven experience 5 years as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in a software or technology company
• Strong technical background, with a solid understanding of software development methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in an agile environment, with a thorough understanding of agile principles and practices
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner).
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.

 Requirements:

• Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration:

• Type of contract: International Consultant Full-Time. 
• Length of contract: 12 months. 
• Work Location: On site.
