IDBInvest Risk Management Lead Officer/Officer - Market Risk
Skills you’ll need:
Education: An advanced degree (Master’s degree equivalent or higher) in Business Administration, Economy, Engineering, or another related field. Certification from FRM or CFA preferred.
Experience:
- At least 12 years of relevant professional experience for a Lead Officer and 10 years for an Officer, in risk management at a peer institution or banks with exposure in the Americas.
- At least 7 years of experience for a Lead Officer and 5 years for an Officer, in Market Risk or ALM functions (in the second line of defense) at a peer institution or bank with exposure in the Americas.
- Experience in the US and LATAM Interest Rate and FX markets
- Deep understanding of Market Risk models, ALM and Liquidity management
Languages: oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish required; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
Systems: User of Bloomberg MARS/BRM. Advanced user of Microsoft tools: Excel, Power Point, Word.
