QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in similar position. You will also possess confirmed analytical skills and experience in seeking innovative solutions.
• Languages: You are proficient (oral and written) in English and Spanish.

REQUIREMENTS:

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

ABOUT THIS POSITION:

Business Unit: The Credit Risk Management (MCR) Division of IDB Invest is looking for an officer to i) work on benchmarking and risk analysis, reports, and systems, ii) perform information validation and iii) support the independent credit risk assessment of lending or investment transactions.

The team’s mission:

MCR contributes to the generation, execution, and supervision of a portfolio of high quality, creditworthy, and environmentally and socially sound projects with significant development impact. Sectors include: infrastructure, water and sanitation, clean energy and climate change, green bonds and climate intelligent agriculture. The Division works closely with other organizational units of IDB Invest and IDB.

• Type contract: Staff – Fixed Term
• Modality: International
• Length of contract: Individuals will receive a fixed-term contract appointment for three years, which is renewable based on mutual agreement
• Reports to: Division Chief Credit Risk
• Location: HQ-US-Washington DC
• Starting date: Upon mutual agreement with candidate
