IDB Invest - Access to Information Policy - External Review Panel PEC Consultant
Education: Master’s degree in law, journalism, and/or development-related fields of expertise
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience and demonstrated competence.
- Knowledge of regional and other IDB Invest member countries’ Access to Information policies and/or stakeholders’ engagement.
- Knowledge of and experience with the operations of multilateral development organizations with a focus on the private sector in developing countries.
- Proven track record serving in positions where impartiality and decision-making in complex situations is required.
- Proven strong agility gathering, analyzing and synthesizing information from multiple sources and presenting it concisely and clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; good exposure to international and multicultural environment.
- Knowledge and experience on issues related to environmental and social sustainability associated with private sector development projects.
- Knowledge and experience working in Latin America and the Caribbean is a plus.
Languages: Fluency in both Spanish and English preferred. Knowledge of other IDB Invest official languages (Portuguese, French) is a plus.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Knowledge of and experience with drafting, implementing or reviewing Access to Information policies internationally. Ability to manage a thorough and systematic review process.
- Analysis and problem-solving: Ability to make decisions and/or develop recommendations based on systematic analysis and sound judgment in a timely and constructive manner.
- Communication and knowledge-sharing: Well-developed writing and editing skills, advanced presentation skills sufficient to convey complex information on issues.
