Skills you’ll need:


Education:  An advanced degree (at least Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Development Studies, or other field.


Experience: At least 15 years of meaningful experience, with 7 years at the senior leadership level, in a development bank, private bank or investment firm.

  • A clear understanding of non-sovereign guaranteed operations of multilateral financial institutions.
  • An understanding of the operational frameworks of public sector and/or multilateral institutions (including their special governance, mandates, safeguards, and human resources structures).
  • Substantial understanding of originating, structuring, and implementing financial market financing and guarantee facilities, including structured finance and asset-backed securities (especially mortgages), financial institutions, and/or trade finance facilities.
  • Prioritize efficiently and effectively to manage the portfolio and meet business objectives.  Strong risk assessment and mitigation skills.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is essential.

Languages: Proficient in Spanish and English required; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
